USDA Certified Organic CBD Oil

Keeping your health and immune system running at top speeds have never been more important than right now in today’s fast-paced world. We are bombarded with bills, injuries, worry, stress and can create havoc on our life and immune system. Apex USDA Organic Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is 100% cold-pressed and unrefined by gasses solvent or heat. This ensures that all the beneficial enzymes, flavonoids, terpenes, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids 3-6 and Phyto-CannaBinoiDs stay intact in its original natural state and unadulterated. All of these natural elements are supporting each other and bring an entourage effect that works synergistically in helping support the entire endocannabinoid system. Most CBD manufacturers use toxic extraction methods like butane, solvents or gasses and use these methods to separate, isolate and concentrate cannabinoid molecules and other plant matter. This strips all the supporting structures of the plant’s natural elements that our bodies have used for thousands of years. Then CBD manufactures “TRY” to remove those residual solvents by using heat or other chemical processes to evaporate those toxins out of the finished product. At this point, the consumer starts to feel like a science experiment and natural wellness goalpost gets gets pushed further away. By using heat to remove solvents this also adulterates and changes the Cannabinoid profile and from its original state CBD-A to CBD this is called decarboxylation or what we feel is adulterating. Remember we have been using this plant for thousands of years and in only the last 40-50 years have we been using ethanol, butane, or solvents to extract and isolate the plant’s molecules. The cannabis industry sets these allowable trace toxins pesticides or micro toxins elements at allowable PPM (parts per million) levels. Unfortunately, this misses the mark in my opinion, our body is processing everything at PPB) (Parts per billion) or PPT (parts per trillion). Companies can claim they don’t carry residual solvents and can show you lab reports claiming there is a non-detectable amount of residual toxins, but it’s only at the PPM levels and not the PPB or the PPT level your body breaks everything down too. That means for thousands of years we have been using Cannabis plants for food, clothing and medicinal properties. Some CBD companies will even claim their products are organic even when they are not. Stick to the seal, without it, there is no guarantee. This ensures product purity and safety and separates the real companies that care and are not in for the quick buck and overnight business practices. Make sure what you are purchasing is USDA Certified Organic CBD oil. You’ve seen that friendly green USDA certified organic label found on products. You likely look for it when shopping for natural organic produce and groceries The USDA certification ensures that what we’re exposing our body too is safe, clean, and natural. It is a symbol that signifies safety, transparency, and quality. If you had the option, wouldn’t you choose a product free from GMO, conventional contaminants and potentially harmful materials? The USDA Organic as a governing body that uses inspectors and auditors. These auditors track and trace products and ingredients from the beginning and ensure product safety and quality through audits that private companies open themselves up to in order to carry this seal. Most USDA Organic companies have gone to great lengths to qualify and those companies protect that as their business model for success and future. Consumers who are looking to make purchases for health and safety are looking for that seal this is essentially knowing your farmer without actually knowing your farmer. USDA licensed processors undergo strict reporting and track and traceability of all products and ingredients. Bulk USDA Certified Organic CBD is used by many companies in the health, beauty, beverage, animal and many other industries. Ultimately, USDA certified organic CBD oil can be difficult to come by. The certification process is expensive, restrictive and lengthy, which explains why there are not many companies out there currently carrying that seal. Apex Hemp Oil proud to be certified USDA Organic and sources premium-grade Hemp from Organic Hemp Farms and naturally 100% cold presses it certified USDA Organic Oil. Don’t be fooled by those companies using cold-pressed hemp oil and then adding a isolate and other concentrated ingredients claiming to be cold-pressed. Apex Hemp Oil is 100% Cold Pressed We encourage you to understand the extraction processes and make educated decisions on what the ultimate choice in your family’s health and safety.

CBD-A the forgotten CannaBinoiD

CBDa also known as “The Natural CannabinoiD” is one of the many cannabinoids found in Apex Full Spectrum cold pressed hemp oil. Cannabis is full of cannabinoids, Some 113 of these chemical compounds have been identified for various purposes and effects on the human brain and body.

Here we discuss more about the science behind this little known and forgotten CannaBinoiD.
What is it?
Cannabidiolic acid or CBDa is one of about a hundred cannabinoids present within the cannabis plant. First isolated in 1996, CBDa is a precursor of cannabidiol (CBD), currently one of the most sought after of the cannabinoids. Found most abundantly in the raw cannabis plant, the benefits of CBDa are only just beginning to be fully understood.
How is it made?
All cannabinoids start life as cannabigerolic acid (CBGa), the stem cell cannabinoid, which is then capable of becoming all of the cannabinoids present in cannabis through various processes. CBGa is synthesized by the living cannabis plant into other acidic cannabinoids, like THCa or CBDa, and from there, the rest of the cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant can be created. In order to get the popular THC or CBD cannabinoids, these acidic forms need to be decarboxylated, a process that heats the cannabinoids to change their molecular structure from CBDa to CBD through decarboxylation so that they give off their COOH group as carbon dioxide and water vapor.
CBDa its undercarboxylated form is found in abundant quantities in hemp, a varietal of the cannabis plant. Hemp is naturally high in CBDa and and contains only trace amounts of CBD and

THC.Only after decarboxylation does the plants compounds change to CBD or THC. Processing methods using high heats alter these compounds and change them from the plants original structure changing them from CBDa and THCa to CBD and THC. This is adulterates and changes the plants natural compounds and molecular structure making them an adulteration.

By using Apex all natural cold pressed extraction method we have not altered or adulterate the cannabinoids and the plants natural compounds, fats, vitamins, minerals and this all works synergistically to bring a all natural hemp wellness product to the market.

CBDa is Often found in high quantities by those who juice or extract from raw cannabis, CBDa is best derived from a freshly harvested plant to preserve as much of the cannabinoid as possible, as light, heat, and even air will also cause CBDa to decarboxylate to CBD. Our ancestors that were using cannabis as a medicine for thousands of years to treat pain with CBD, didn’t have the ability to separate and isolate cannabinoids on a molecular level. Therefore, we see a recent development and interest in our Apex full-spectrum CBD-A natural hemp products. CBDa works on the same human systems in the same was as CBD. Our Apex Full Spectrum Hemp Oil products are created using full spectrum 100% cold Pressed hemp oil that has not been decarboxylated, retaining its high levels of CBDa.  But, it has the added virtue of being “pure.” It is cleaner in the sense that there is no combustion involved, no solvents, and no toxic residue.

Cold Pressed CBDa Oil

In a recent study in comparison to CBDA, an equivalent low dose of CBD did not reduce hyperalgesia, suggesting that CBDA is more potent than CBD for this indication. Interestingly, when ineffective doses of CBDA or THC alone were combined, this combination produced an anti-hyperalgesia effect and reduced inflammation so proving a full spectrum raw product is in high demand now. Customers and buyers are always trying to get the purest cleanest product on the market and and it looks like Apex Hemp Oil has been leading the charge for raw full spectrum rich in cbda and other Phyto-cannabinoids.

Cold Pressed vs Solvent Extraction

Everyday consumers are hearing more and more about the buzzword “CBD” but behind those three little letters are a line of farms, processors, and finished goods CBD manufacturers. Consumers are faced with a borage of information and misinformation propelled by the internet. Processors and brands go to great lengths to focus on the bottom line to meet overhead and running costs to be competitive with today’s tight CBD market. Brands buy these bulk concentrated CBD oils in bulk and blend them with other ingredients into multiple finished goods.

One of the most common is Isolate CBD in its purest form. It’s exactly how it sounds— an isolated form of cannabidiol.
During the extraction process, everything from the chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, waxes, and lipids are removed or filtered out of the hemp plant except for one single cannabidiol (CBD) molecule. This leaves you with a pure CBD product but removes much of the needed support that the other minor cannabinoids that help the over the potency of CBD.

Distillate CBD has to go through several different refinement processes, starting with crude extraction. This requires the use of a solvent to remove cannabinoids from the plant matter.
Then it has to go through what is known as winterization. This requires the crude extract and solvent to be mixed and left in an extremely cold climate for 24-48 hours so it can congeal and separate.
The next step is decarboxylation using high amounts of heat until its refined until it becomes a pure, isolated product. These over-processing concentrating elements and isolating molecules using unnatural extraction reduces the natural elements and moves the goal post of natural health further away. Solvent Extracted CBD
There are several extraction methods dominating today’s CBD market these days. Those are (BHO) Butane Extraction, CO2 Extraction, Alcohol Extraction, and the new kid on the block that’s catching major attention is Cold Pressed CBD Oil. So we are going to explore these methods and maybe help consumers understand the differences and why they matter.

Butane extraction is a form of hydrocarbon extraction, which is the process of using a hydrocarbon like butane or propane as the solvent to extract cannabis concentrates.
Among the many extraction methods processors are now using, BHO extraction remains popular because of its low-cost and effectiveness. It can be done at home without any fancy machinery.
Alcohol Extraction: It is the process of extracting essential oils and cannabinoids from the Cannabis plant by using ethyl or isopropyl as the solvent. Once the plant material is removed, the alcohol is evaporated leaving behind a sticky and highly potent substance. Further purification is done to obtain various forms of oil.

Co2 Extraction: Unarguable probably one of the safest among all the Solvent-based extraction methods. With increasing regularity, cannabis concentrate manufacturers are choosing CO2 extraction methods because they are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.  CO2 extraction is a process that uses pressurized carbon dioxide to pull specific desired phytochemicals from a plant.  At certain temperatures and pressures, CO2 behaves like a solvent without the dangers of actually being one.  The most common CO2 extraction method has been “Supercritical,” where the extraction solvent behaves like both a liquid and a gas.  Supercritical is a high pressure, high-temperature process that damages terpenes and other heat-sensitive chemicals, but can extract large molecules such as lipids, chlorophyll, and waxes.  Solvent power can be modified by adjusting the temperature and/or pressure.

Unfortunately, this method also pulls allot more than just cannabinoids out. It also pulls the beneficial fats, terpenes, and other natural elements. Separating molecules the plant’s natural elements and playing god with the plant’s natural molecules is what got us in the pharmaceutical mess we are now in. Anytime you isolate or concentrate the plant’s molecules we believe the goal post of natural health moves further away. Now before we get up in arms that concentrating elements are great for helping with chronic illness or other related uses where one might need to be treated with a concentrated form of cannabinoids.

Alcohol Extraction: Ethanol, low-grade alcohol, and butane are among the most common substances used in solvent extraction. Although ethanol extracts the full range of cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant, which makes the end product safe for consumption, it also extracts chlorophyll which may lead to some unpleasant side effects.
You can remove the chlorophyll by filtering the extract, but you significantly reduce the oil’s potency. Butane offers a stronger oil than ethanol, but it is more likely to contain solvents that could irritate the lungs.
For extraction, the liquid is added to the plant material. The extraction liquid will strip away the cannabinoids and flavor from the plant material but will probably take some green colorings too. Once enough cannabinoids have been extracted, heat the liquid to evaporate it down to the CBD base oil. Unfortunately, this also alters the plant’s natural elements and adulterates them to an unfamiliar molecular state the body has a hard time understanding.

Cold Pressed Extraction: It seems there is a new kid on the block rising in popularity among consumers who are searching for a product that offers a much safer option for those looking for all-natural cbd oil. Cold Pressed CBD Oil coined by Apex Hemp Oil is 100% solventless and cold-pressed extraction method that uses no solvents gasses or heat. This produces an all-natural organic product that is much safer and full of natural elements that your body will love. There are some drawbacks to Cold Pressed CBD Oil as its completely smokeless so it’s used more for topical’s and food additives. By Cold Pressing the whole plant’s natural elements the consumer also gets the beneficial fats, vitamins, minerals, waxes, and Phyto-Cannabinoids left intact and undisturbed. This method extraction gently releases the plant’s natural molecule’s thus making it a perfect topical or food additive and unsuitable for the smoking market without further refinement. Cold Pressed CBD Oil means consumers have the confidence that the products that they are consuming are safe healthy and free of unwanted, chemicals, solvents or additives. Behind those tiny little words is a world of processing methods science and understanding them and their health and safety concerns matter. All (CBD) CannBinoiDs are not created equal and depending on how they are processed might carry more risk than reward.

Most CBD company's use man made chemicals, heat or solvents to extract isolate and concentrate the cannabinoid molecules. We believe this moves the goal post of health further away and nothing in life is meant to be concentrated or isolated. Company's using high heat allows for greater yields but strips the plant of its nutritional profile and reduces potency. We believe in natural CannaBinoiDs CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is one of many compounds produced by cannabis and hemp. CBDA converts to the better known cannabinoid CBD (cannabidiol) over time and when exposed to heat. You can see from the lab report below that we use virtually no heat and our CannaBinoiD rich oil is unadulterated by heat and remains in its natural raw state.
